At last a kettle that ticks (almost ) all the boxes.

I rarely place reviews but I couldn't let the Luna kettle go without praise. Ours has now been in daily use for several weeks and we've been delighted with it from the start. It's not silent of course, but so quiet that the TV next to it in the kitchen can be listened to without the volume needing to be increased. That was annoyingly impossible with our several previous kettles. We also like the speed of boiling, the perfect pouring from the spout, the comfort of the handle, and the general good looks. Being able to view the water level through the side as the kettle is being filled is imperative for us. We can't understand why some kettles have the level indicator behind the handle, almost hidden from view when filling! The 3-year extended guarantee is also pleasing as previous kettles have had a shorter life than that with us. It was very easy to register for the additional year over the standard two. We haven't noticed the plastic taint reported by some users (perhaps because we have hard water?) so have left the '1-2-3 cup' indicator in place, though we don't bother to use it. Our previous kettle had a 2-cup marking on the side glass - far easier to judge the fill level that way than having to peer through the top of the kettle when it is under the tap! But that really is our only negative.

Better than expected for the price

This switch is of a much higher quality than I would have expected for the price. It looks good, was easy to wire and is smooth in action. It's not often I enthuse about something so small and cheap, but I'm really pleased with it.
