Surefire 125 Lum Keychain Flashlight Ultra Compact Dual-Output LED Light TITAN-A
04 March 2017
Surefire Titan A: High quality keychain-sized mini flashlight, with very wide light beam
The build of this AAA-powered flashlight is typical Surefire: sturdy and durable. Despite its small size (3 inches in length), it feels solid in the hand, while having a soft-anodized surface. The size is perfect if you want to attach this light to your keys and carry it in your pocket. Another option is to attach a thin lanyard to the light and then just wear it around your neck; I do this some times and I forget it's there. The flashlight comes with a rechargeable Lithium battery. It doesn't include a battery charger, but if they included one then the price would be higher. At any rate, you could get a good quality universal charger for about $20 to $25; it's an investment that pays for itself in the long run. Alternatively, you could use alkaline batteries at the expense of a decreased runtime. The beam of this flashlight is very "floody"; it is very hard to notice a "hot spot" unless you shine the light on a wall at a very close distance. The reason for this wide beam pattern is Surefire's MaxVision technology, which uses a faceted reflector. It has two output modes: a 15-lumens low and a 125-lumens high. The low mode is enough to allow you to see inside a dark room, but without being able to really distinguish fine details or colors in an object. The good news, according to Surefire, is that on low mode, you could get about 8 hours of light when using the rechargeable lithium battery. On the other hand, the high mode will allow you to fill a room, or even a living room, with light and be able to better distinguish colors. On high mode, the light has a decent amount of "throw" - relatively speaking. If you need to illuminate objects at a large distance, then you should consider carrying a regular-sized flashlight. The light beam's color is on the "warm" side, not a neutral white; it has a creamy appearance which I really like. However, this last point is just a matter of personal preference as some people prefer light beams that are neutral white or that have a "cool" tint. While you may be able to illuminate an entire room with this small flashlight, the light beam does not appear very bright - not even in the center. This is not surprising, given that this flashlight only puts out about 450 candela on high mode. Just as a comparison, I also have an Olight i3E EOS, 120-lumen version flashlight (also powered by one AAA battery), and the hotspot is noticeably brighter than that of the Surefire Titan. On the other hand, the Olight i3E is not able to illuminate a large area like the Surefire Titan does. In my opinion, the Surefire Titan's MaxVision beam is more useful, because it can illuminate a larger area. Lastly, if you would like to have a keychain flashlight that is both very bright and floody, then you ought to consider either Surefire's Titan Plus or Sidekick, both of which have a high mode of 300 lumens and 1,100 candela. I chose the Sidekick over the Titan Plus because, after reading many reviews, I realize that the Titan Plus high mode is more like a Turbo mode which only lasts like 3 minutes. The Sidekick, which has the form factor of a keychain fob, can deliver close to 300 lumens for about 30 minutes, and then you begin to notice a steady decline in output. I own several Surefire flashlights and they have never let me down; they build high-quality, reliable and tough flashlights. Best of all, Surefire flashlights are proudly made in the U.S.

The Nioxin System 2 Cleanser Shampoo helps to make hair look fuller/thicker. I saw an improvement from when I was using System 1. It has a nice scent, though very mild. I've been using this shampoo for quite a few years with no adverse results. I've purchased this item from Beauticonic on several occasions, and they've been great in terms of pricing, order processing and shipping.
VIPERTEK VTS-881 70 MV Rechargeable Micro Mini Stun Gun LED Flashlight - Black
26 January 2017
Vipertek VTS-881 Stun Gun: You get what you pay for!
The best thing about this stun gun is its rather compact size; it makes it very easy to carry in your pocket or purse. It also has a decent flashlight, which puts out a rather well-balanced beam, in terms of "throw" and "spill." I cannot speak as to how effective at either being able to stop an attacker on his tracks or being able to deter an attack altogether. The one I ordered from Vidsdeals came with threads of wire protruding from either side of the electrodes. Honestly, I don't expect much quality control from a Chinese product at this price point, but having exposed wires?? I don't think it's the safest thing to carry around, given that the wires that are supposed to conduct electricity are exposed. I contacted the seller about this issue but they never replied. Perhaps one of the worst things about this stun gun is the fact that you're not able to tell when it's fully charged, especially since it's indicated that overcharging the stun gun can shorten the battery's life. I guess I'll keep it as the backup flashlight I don't really need (I have quite a few Surefire flashlights). I don't recommend this product.
