Simple and fun to play for rock music.
1 of 1 found this helpful The Gibson Thunderbird is a great bass guitar made for rock music. I have 2 Gibson Blackbirds and a Thunderbird Studio. The studio is not neck heavy unlike the Blackbirds, and the headstock won't fall to the ground when you let go of the neck. The Thunderbirds are simple and easy to play, and are not meant for playing high notes, as they are not accessible due to the design of the guitar. That doesn't make it a bad guitar though, just easier to play! Simple and BASSic!
