Great Performance
1 of 1 found this helpful Updated my Lenovo T420 i5-2520M to this i7-2640M and it performs awesome.
Takes a little time to install and make sure you use good thermal paste like Artic Silver, or whatever you prefer.
Check the cooling fan while you have it out and make sure it's clean and quiet, or replace it with a new one, there
not that expensive and it can make a difference later on.
I would definitely recommend this processor as a high end i7-2 core upgrade.
