garbage

LaCie Porsche just a shady Seagate
2 of 3 found this helpful Although I haven't had a problem with this item yet, it is equipped with a Seagate hdd which, I usually steer clear from due to past product failures and data loss. Warranties do not cover data loss and seagate and Samsung.seems to have a higher failure rate, or data loss than western digital or Toshiba.
This would have been better value if it was equipped with a higher quality hdd.
I definitely wouldn't have bought it, if any review had of mentioned, it was a Seagate hidden in Porsche clothing.
On the plus side, They seem to have addressed the overheating issue, that I've read on other reviews and it's seem of sturdy construction and looks quite elegant.
Here's hoping my data is safe.

Keeping it simple.

This one will. It's basic, It's safe. It charges your battery.
