And that is the reason to read "Four Freedoms: A Novel".
If you've never read him before, this book is a fine introduction but don't stop there. Really, don't. Have you ever read a sentence that excites you because of the way it is written? He is a master. The ideas he presents are profoundly penetrating and become important to you personally even as you read them. His is intense storytelling, compelling, important, and above all, way enjoyable.
