Ski Googles used for running
I wore the gray googles for a Winter Warrior Half Marathon in Rochester NY on 1/6/18. It was 3F with a wind chill of -13F. They fogged up a little when I ran downwind but cleared up when I ran into the wind. They did their job of protecting my eyes from the cold! Definitely worth it!

Pebble 2 HR smartwatch
I have had my Pebble for over a month. I was perplexed at first when I tried to set it up. I figured out that I had to download the Pebble app onto my Android phone first and then use that to download apps. There is an active Pebble community on Reddit that helps me find great apps.
I am a runner who like stats. I have walked/ran over 300K steps so far and my resting heart rate is in the 40s. I have not found a running app yet that speaks to me but I am sure that one is out there. I love that the watchface can be read in brilliant sunshine.
Overall, choosing the Pebble as my first smartwatch have been a positive experience. The battery life of about 5 days is great. I am sorry that the Pebble line was discontinued but I think this Pebble is a keeper.
