  This was listed as "New" (which eBay defines as "A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item"). Sadly when it arrived the cellophane packaging was torn and partly missing. I bid on this rather than a 2nd hand one as I wanted it as a gift. The damage wasn't mentioned and, especially at this time of year when people are likely to be buying items listed as 'new' for gifts, I think it should have been. There was no time to get an alternative so I had to give it anyway but I was embarrassed.
