Viessmann Distance Signal
2 of 2 found this helpful Viessmann signals are among the best in the scale-modelling industry--this signal is no exception. Finely detailed with both the blade and disc operable. Installing one of these is not for the faint of heart, but with patience, care, and paying close attention to the instructions, a modeler with average skills should have no problem.

Beautiful kit!
This is an outstanding kit! Well-cast, great detailing, lots of possibilities for display. Although it is an HO (1:87) scale kit, it is perfect for anyone who enjoys ship modeling. If you are fortunate to have the Hulett unloader kit in the same scale, you have all you need for a museum-quality display. The only drawback, if you want to call it that, is the size. It is one BIG kit! There are two excellent books about Great Lakes shipping, "The Lakers," that provide lots of ideas for detailing and painting. Overall, I would recommend this highly to any serious modeler!
