Sensitive, intelligently written and kind tale, addressing people's right to enjoy, defend and protect honourable and genuine Love and dignity
My first introduction to Ellen Klages' wonderful writing was by way of finding "Time Gypsy" in a short story compendium. As soon as I began to read it, I was hooked on the intelligence and imagination of her writing, especially how sensitively she portrayed Carol and Sarah's relationship and how she made it appear as completely natural as it is. I immediately ordered all of Ellen's writings that I could find ~ short story collections and novels. In particular, I hunted for and, to my delight, found "Passing Strange," which I have just finished reading (for the first of many times). What a delight! Ellen's words are a joy to read, her care and kindness and sensitivity eminent throughout. "Passing Strange" is a tale of solid friendships, trust and tryst, and the defence of honest and genuine love and dignity, with plenty of suspense and a twist ~ Peter
