Exceeds but poor re-charging connection

Exceeds my indoor and outdoor needs. However, the USB recharging connection gets loose and won't connect. I have had to play with it to get the red light to stay on.

Not an original 1EEE1394 (4-pin).

The USB connection was a stand connection. The other (small) end was not for the "original firewire" (1EEE 1392). I won't be buying anymore.
