Sigma 50mm 2.8 EX DG Macro is nice lens
Sharp lens and with the 1.6x factor for Canon it is about 77mm, which gives a little more working distance than for 50mm, and gives a little more than 1:1 ratio. The lens seems rugged and good quality. I bought this used and did not get an instruction sheet so I'm not sure about setting the range limiter for AF--but I use it in manual focus anyway. I have not seen vignetting or CA fringing yet. I got a 55mm to 58mm adapter ring so I can use my 58mm filters on it.
