The CMAP Pro came in the factory packaging just as stated. I was aware that the one I saw listed was a 2018 and that is exactly what I got. I put in my Lowrance HDS live and it worked fine including being able to change the depth shading. It is a tremendous value at $35, considering a new one from the factory is 3 times as much and does not really offer anything beyond the 2018 chip
