Good starter pond for wildlife, not easy to put in
9 of 13 found this helpful I bought this because it said, just dig a hole and put it in. Well, its not quite like that at all, hence my review. It was very difficult to put it in. What you need to do is make sure the hole is at least 5cm bigger all round. Use a spirit level to make sure its straight. Filling was the most difficult part because of the shelves. You start to back fill then the pond moves and its not straight and you start all over. It took ages. I think it would be better to buy one without shelves. Having said that, once its done and you have added your plants, fountain, decorated stone edging and tadpoles it makes a great garden feature
