"'Wrong' part works fine so far"
The part I ordered was not the part sent. When I told Lunaparts they sent the wrong one, they were nice about it and offered to either send the right one or take the wrong one back, no charge. Then they told me that the part they sent was, in fact, the correct part even 'tho the part number was wrong. I decided to install it, and it's been working fine after two baking uses. So, so far so good.

expansion handset
This is a good handset with convenient features, such as redial, intercom, and flash. The sound quality is as good as can be expected from a small earpiece. I had to "register" the handset with my existing DECT 1588 system, but it was easy and took only a few seconds by placing the new handset in an existing charger (removed the existing handset and put the new handset in); in a few seconds it said "registered". Then I returned the new handset into the new charger that it came with. To register, the instructions say to put the new handset in the "base", but my base has a corded handset and does not accept an expansion handset. So I put it in an existing charger, and it did the trick.
