Good value

The pro is, it is more than half the cost of a Canon LH-74B hood. It works great on my Canon lens and it fits in the inverse position on the lens for storage. The con is, it is of much thinner material, if you hold it to tight while putting it on the lens it bends. But if you break it or loose it, it's not going to cost you $46 to replace it.

The product is better than expected, but the material is a little lighter & thinner than the original Canon lens cap. A good value for the price.
