Solid and responsive

These replace a set of older Schaller-style aftermarket tuners. Drop-in fit for for a MIM Strat neck. Tuning feel is much more solid; gearing is snug. A small bump will not cause tuning issues. Tuning has been very stable since the change-out. Would certainly consider these if I needed this style tuner again.

Still Great After 30+ Years

I first came across Tuscany in about 1985, and it became my favorite scent. When I ran out, I moved on to something else. I recently became aware that it was still available, but had been reformulated as the brand changed ownership. If that is the case, it is a very good effort as it smells close enough to the original to be recognized. I'm not going to try to describe the scent, but would refer you to basenotes.net where you can look up some very good reviews. All in all, I'm happy to have rediscovered Tuscany.

Fine for car, not for motorcycle.

I bought this with the intent of using it on my motorcycle on a Garmin Zumo 396. Unfortunately, the retaining arms are not long enough to accommodate the thickness of the GPS plus mounting base. I may be able to devise a different mounting system that will work for my case. I have an old Nuvi that it fits on fine. So long as your unit is not thicker than usual, it should work. For the low cost, it's worth a try.
