On the small side.
Good quality. They are a bit smaller than expected. Wide part is about the size of a dime.

Protection is at a level that gives me peace of mind.
Case is made of two parts, a rubber liner, and a hard plastic cover. There are covers for the headset plug, and power plug, providing good protection from pocket lint.
A stick-on screen protector is included. Buttons for power and sound level work nicely. Hole for microphone is centered well, and people tell me they can hear me well, not like other covers I have had.
Adds little width, and stiff cover helps to prevent bending of phone while in my pocket.
Overall, I am very happy with the protection provided for the price. Only improvement I could hope for is water resistance, but this is not the level of protection I was purchasing.

Home use
I use these as home stereos in my basement workshop and garage. With a 3 amp power supply they put out good sound from both big home stereo speakers, to 6x9s mounted in boxes. I have even gone a bit overboard and added a sub and additional 30 watt amp for outdoor speakers on the garage unit.
FM reception is good with just a piece of wire for an antenna.
Lots of fun to tinker with.
