TIE Fighter starpilot, the chronicles of Maareek Stele
More than a manual for the game, which I had the opportunity of playing, I bought this one because of the short story of Maareek Stele a young Imperial TIE fighter pilot. We usually hear about the story of the rebel alliance and how they win the war against the evil empire, but we don't get to see the life of the other side's version of the story. This is not just a guide for the game, but it is also a good short story describing how this character, Maareek Stele got to join the Imperial armada. How he was rescued by a star destroyer, named the Vengeance, and how he starts climbing up in rank as he accidentally enters the cockpit of a TIE fighter. The game itself its for an obsolete system, but I have to admit that the writers did a superb job describing each one of the starfighters of the starwars universe, not only that, but they give great detail and insight on how each mission was conducted, or should be conducted, and what is expected from the player. This guide completes the story of Maareek Stele chronicles, any old gamer will know what am I talking about. I just wanted to see how the story of this young pilot ended, and I was not disappointed. The story is full of intrigue, and suspense. It shows you that being a pilot inside a star destroyer is very risky, and the pilots are well aware that the next battle could be their last one. This story describes some of the main star wars characters, such as Darth Vader from the perspective of practically unknown characters such as Maareek Stele, which have been practically replaced by newer characters from other stories in the star wars universe. If you like star fighter stories, stories that transport you into dangerous missions in the vacuum of space, then this story is for you. But again, this book combines the story of the main character with the game-play of the main story of the video game. Back in the day they did not had the technology to integrate everything together, so they placed everything in this book. It is a thick book, 404 pages long, and I have to say, this book was made with care for the video game, the storyline, and the characters in it. I did enjoyed it.

Quite interesting Ancient Aliens
This is a great documentary. Not sure if those ancient alien theorists are right or wrong, but the archeological sites that they mention are of extreme importance; Puma Punku, Tihuanaco, Nazca, Yoniguni, Dwarka, Machu-Pichu, Stonehench, Teotihuaca, Sacsihuaman fortress, El Bayon, so on and so forth. This documentary tries to explain the archeological and structural anomalies that exist around this world, and possibly it also tries to explain true origins of men, excluding the erroneous evolution theory, that states that mankind comes from monkeys; as well as the erroneous thought that men were primitive during the stone age. Those megalithic structures make you wonder how our ancestors were able to calculate using mathematical operation, and physics to place those structures in a perfect design. It is just mind blowing as well as it is extraordinary to learn that our ancestors, the ancients were not as dumb as we thought as they were. Some of those structures cannot be replicated, or they would be replicated with great difficulty with modern technology. Some of those sites even are older than the pyramids of Egypt. Sites that are 17,000 to 20,000 years of age. This documentary also shows some of the underwater civilizations that did exists as great civilization, such as the case of Yonugani and Dwarka. Now, the presenters are a little bit wacky, but they make this documentary fun. Some of them are well renowned authors like Von Daniken, author of Chariots of the Gods. I highly recommend this documentary for those that have an open mind, of those that are seekers of the truth, of those that are looking for an alternative explanation on how we all got here and on who our ancestors truly were. It is just a fun documentary, regardless if you are a believer or not, it does give you insight of interesting archeological places of great importance that might explain the true origins of mankind.

Decoded
Brad delivers good detective stories, and he also keeps it mysterious for the viewer to try and figure out what is going on with secret societies. The investigators in this documentary make things fun, and give a humorist touch on the series of investigations that conduct. Brad hires three investigators, a lawyer, am engineer, and a...historian?/private eye?... anyways, those three make a marvelous team, and they go to various places trying to get answers to questions that people have about secret societies. This is great material for those that are conspiracy theorists. I personally bought it to keep my self informed and up to date, and to learn, at least, superficially, about those secret groups that are out there, those elite groups that possibly change the course of history and touch the lives of people based on the decisions they take. Elite groups have the power of acquisition, and as such, they can infiltrate government, buy lobbyists, hold public positions of importance, so on and so forth, but as Brad Meltzer states, he only scratches the surface, and he sometimes has to speculate what happened in reality. Again, this DVD is fun to watch if you like mystery stories.
