They're ok
The hinges themselves are heavy duty 35mm cup hinges. The baseplates are rather flimsy. They're single piece castings and very thin. I had to use small washers behind under the plates so the screws wouldn't deform the plate when screwing onto a flat surface. Without the washers, the plate would flex and bind with the clip mechanism so the hinge was impossible to clip on & off.
Also they are NOT 110 degree hinges. They open to barely past 90deg.
Other than that, they're working fine and holding more weight than a standard hinge would. I think I have to order extras in case one of these plates ever breaks.

Good solid product but...
I've used HeliOption turnbuckles for years on 450 size. The titanium is good quality and nicely finished. The only problem is that the plastic links HeliOption uses are all weak & brittle. So I usually just drill & substitute Align links. But with these I can't. The Align & Gaui links of comparable size are already drilled out bigger than the HeliOption threads. So I MUST use them. They also must be extensively reamed. Two of mine broke right away but the seller was good enough to send replacements right away. So in short, good titanium, bad plastic. I'm not sure I trust it enough to fly with it. Searching for other options.

Didn't fit
I'm switching from the v1 170t maingear to the slant gear in order to achive a higher ratio. Since I don't know for sure if the new ratio will deliver the headspeed & power I want, I didn't want to spend $25+ on the genuine Align maingear when this one is very much cheaper... just to try out the new setup. Well I think I made a mistake. I paired this with a genuine Align autorotation gear, hub & sleeve... it didn't fit. It rubbed the autogear. I had to use two washers instead of one to space the autogear down enough to clear. Since the Jbolt hole was then misaligned I had to drill out the sleeve (not easy) and the autogear. I have not tried the genuine Align maingear so I can't definitely say it would have fit... but I have alot of experience with Align parts, so I highly suspect it would have. Also, there were molding nubs on the underside which had broken away taking small chunks of the spoke supports with them, so I suspect this is fairly brittle plastic. Next time I will spend the money for genuine Align.
