I'm a mechanic by trade and have used the big dollar proprietry dealership scan tools for many years. In comparison I honestly think this is an absolute bargain! It provides you with very accurate and instant response to the available sensor readings especially when used with 'car scanner pro' and no doubt many other apps. Torque lite and Torque pro are slow to react and you won't necessarily detect a fuel pressure drop like you will clearly see in 'Car Scanner pro'. I've now had one of these in my ford transit work van for a couple months now and it works flawlessly. I bought another one for my brother as a handy yet inexpensive xmas gift. He also is a mechanic and will rely on it for work purposes. Code reading works as well as the ford dealership scanner and in some cases is far better to use whilst road testing for things like fuel rail pressure, air flow meter, boost pressure, voltage, egr etc. The only thing it lacks is the ability to train key fobs and detect parameters outside of the actual engine vitals. It does have the ability to read abs sensors but the software is yet to catch up. In summary you are getting a great tool that far out shines it's low price.

My wife loves it, I love the look of it and it does a great job of keeping the temperature whilst remaining dead quiet. There's three things I'd change, the option for a backlit control panel because you can't see it in the dark, option to shut off the bright blue temperature readout and the ability to leave the internal light on because it looks swish.
