Great game if you can find it!
In The Groove for PlayStation 2 is a superb first entry by developer RoXoR Games into the growing genre of rhythm games. For those unfamiliar, the object is to step in time with the music in the game. This is performed on a specialized "dance pad" that has four arrow panels which correspond to arrows that appear on screen. The more precise the player's steps are in accordance with the beat of the song, the better they do. This game is an expansion upon a better known dance game, Dance Dance Revolution. In many ways, In The Groove borrows directly from DDR, though the game maintains a sense of originality. This game has a distinctly American/ European selection of songs, as opposed to DDR's primarily Japanese song library. Furthermore, the difficulty level of In The Groove is much higher than that of DDR, which makes for a longer lasting challenge for experienced players. While slightly unpolished (i.e. slow load times, occasionally poor song editing), In The Groove is a game that is well worth your time, even though it is rather difficult to find beyond the internet.

Entertaining, but not the best.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Pirates 2 soundtrack for its brilliant score, but I was rather disappointed by the bonus track at the end of the disc. The lion's share of the disc contains every magnificent note composed for the equally exciting film, Dead Man's Chest. The only factor that prevented me from giving this disc a 5 was the Tiesto Remix of "He's A Pirate." I am a fan of techno music, but this version of what is considered to be the primary theme for the Pirates movies runs several minutes too long and never builds to the climax that I was expecting. Other than that, this is Hans Zimmer doing what he does best. Enjoy!

Love this game.
MDK2 is an exquisitely designed 3D platformer with elements of stealth, run-and-gun as well as puzzle solving scattered throughout. The storyline is as funny as it is engaging, coupled with wonderful art direction and superb music. A must-have for anyone who missed out on the Dreamcast release years ago.
