2 of 2 found this helpful I paired up the Def Tech ProMonitor 1000's with a center channel 2000 from Def Tech, two PM 800's for the rears and a SuperCube 4000 for a sub. Super glad I went with the PM 1000's in the front vs the 800's. They provide a much fuller sound and complement the center speaker very well. The sub is probably a little more than the rest of this system can keep up with but then again, you cant have too much bass. For movies these speakers and the system is super solid. Very impressed. For music, where the fronts are more important, I think the mid rage is a little on the thin side, but for a true bookshelf/satellite speaker I didn't expect them to compare to a tower so they met my expectations. Very happy over all.
