Flexx Boot FB5000 Rapid Flexx Gun CV Boot Installer with Box - Brand New

Awesome Tool!

This tool works really well. It saves a lot of time! It will spread most regular boots enough to get it over the race but it is absolutely not recommended. I can see how it could tear the boot which could be potentially dangerous to the operator. Regular boots are also not designed to be elastic to the point you need them to be in order to go on over the race or joint. You could stretch a regular boot to the point where it would compromise its integrity. The Flexx boots are by far the better option. I installed the large boots on an General Dynamics M1163 ITV-PM Growler and they fit perfectly. The Growler uses Ford Explorer CVs and axes. The boots on this vehicle are under a lot more stress than normal because the ride height is adjustable. This means that the boot needs to have more room for travel. The Flexx boots are really elastic so the they will be more durable in situations where the growler is at the highest ride height and the boots are fully streched/extended. A regular boot probably doesn't have enough room to flex which is why they have a tendency to tear. Overall, great tool and great system. Very high quality

Great price, great quality

I'm using this as a tool bag in my M1163 Growler. I keep all of my winch accessories in the green bag and I plan on buying another black bag for tools. It fits nicely in the tool box.
