Great addition for studio and product photographers
I purchased this grip to allow our EM-1 to operate from AC power, rather than rely on the internal battery, for tethered product photography. It's nice no longer needing to change the battery every 1-2 hours or so. Just install the grip (simply screws on), plug in my tether cable and AC adapter, and shoot all day. Product mounts securely, simply, and seems to be a part of the camera , rather than an appendage. When hand-holding, someone with large hands like mine will find it easier to hold the camera. Two minor downsides. Many mirror-less camera bags are sized for the typical small mirror-less body. Adding the grip may make it a tight (or impossible) fit as it increases the height of the body by over an inch. Second, to access the internal camera battery, you need to remove the grip, since it covers the battery compartment door.

An excellent continuation of the Richard and Kahlan Sword of Truth series.
Another excellent book by a great author, the third book in a follow-on series, continuing the story of Richard and Kahlan. Fast paced and rich in detail. A good read.

Great product for the nature photographer
I use a Really Right Stuff B-55 ball head and Gitzo tripod for much of my work. However, that combination is less than ideal when shooting fast moving sujects (read nature and sports). The Wimberley, when combined with my RRS, provides a smoothly functioning gimbal head ability without the cost (over $1200 more) and carrying penalty (around 4 pounds more) of another complete tripod and full gimbal head. This very well machined and finished addition easily fits within my bag, mounting it takes less than 10 seconds, and I can balance all of my Nikon D810/lens combinations easily. The refurbished model I purchased appeared new to me, with no signs of wear whatsoever.
