Small, fast, all-metal casing, cheap, not over-warm, what's not to like?
Ethernet in back, blinky lights in front, power plug is L-shaped and plugs-into the side, which may-or-may-not be a "plus" for everyone's setup, but seems to work fine sitting on its feet, or turned 90º onto its side (the one without the power cord).

Simple, Gb speeds, works with Nintendo Switch
Purchased because it is based on the ASIX AX88179 chipset, which is compatible with the Nintendo Switch. Works fine: Switch correctly negotiates wired Gb network when plugged-in now, and net-enabled games don't compete for WiFi
