Pagan horror at its finest!
Odd, gripping, disturbing British horror film from the early 70s. If you like films such as The Wicker Man and Witchfinder General you will enjoy this film. Folk horror/pagan horror at it's weirdest. Linda Hayden and Patrick Wymark impress and the gloomy menacing atmosphere of the autumnal English countryside casts a mantle of impending doom over the characters. This village needed a youth centre!!!

Spreading the Thrash!
Excellent second album from New York thrashers Anthrax. A big progression from Fistful of Metal. Joey Belladonna's debut with Anthrax and you can hear him finding his feet as a singer. Awesome thrashing guitar work from Scott Ian and Dan Spitz but it's Charlie's powerhouse drumming and strong presence behind the kit that is the standout performance for me. Stand out song is Madhouse followed by A.I.R and Gung Ho. A band helping to define the thrash sound/scene back in '83. The leap from this to Among the Living is also incredible. A classic. Four stars!
