Plants arrived well packed and in excellent condition. Both plants were very good sizes, and in the case of Conophytum frutescens the photographs did not do the plant justice.
compact and lightweight real world zoom high IQ some noise issues
Purchased primarily as a camera to fit in my bike rising jersey pocket as my mobile phone can't expose a scene to save itself.
The s95 is very compact and plenty lightweight for my above stated purpose.
Exposes well in aperture priority mode. Having never used a Canon P&S before (only Nikon dSLR's) the menus and function buttons/rings are now quite seemless and 2nd nature to adjust on the run.
Battery life is good, the rear LCD review screen is quite well illuminated but I do miss a mirrored viewfinder.
The IS (image stabiliser) actually works on this camera so i keep the ISO close to base as noise is an issue in particualr in shadowed parts of the scene which is to be expected considering there is 10MP crammed onto a tiny sensor.
Only used hand held, deals with high contrasting scenes fairly well, colour reproduction is excellent, even reds are very acurate. After 100+ exposures I'd confidently say 95% of my images are keepers, being nice and sharp, well saturated with not too many blown highlights with the camera exposing the scene to my requirements on most exposures.

Blade and Spring Set for FELCO 9 10 (9/3 Blade & 2/91 Springs) Swiss Made

Superior quality
Felco make superior secateurs and the replacement blade and spring sets are truly excellent.
Excellent upgrade if you want left hand specific secateurs
I've used Felco number 2 secateurs for 20 years. I am left handed and was curious as to how the left hand specific Felco 10 performed.
The Felco 10 model took me several weeks to get used to using after using right handed models for 20 years. This is neither a pro or a con, just an observation.
The open/close lock on the right side of the unit is the hardest thing to get used to but as for a left hander it's perfectly placed and never is accidentally closed/locked as per the right handed Felco 2 models.
The pivoting lower grip works very well to easy repeat strain injury and also assists to limit hand soreness when using the secateurs for hours at a time. However, the pivoting handle did pop out from it's mount once but popped right back in again. I suspect this is the main weakness of this model.
As per Felco number 10 units the blades are truly excellent, the bypass mechanism is first class, the handles close very narrow and close so they suit small hands and the return spring is perfectly tensioned to make prolonged use a pleasure.
In summary I do not regret purchasing the left hand specific model and will use them extensively until no doubt I'll misplace them (again) If you are left handed and already like using Felco right handed secateurs like the Model number 2 that I also use then I'd stick to the right handed model simply because mechanically they are perfect - as good as a pair of secateurs gets - if you are left handed and want to upgrade to a high end pair of left hand specific secateurs then I can recommend these Model 10 Felcos.
