Early Mary Balogh
This book is very early in Ms. Balogh's writing career and, if you're reading her current work, you can see it. Ms. Balogh has improved considerably. But the story is still engaging. And it could be repeated in any time period, because it is humanity.

It works.
I was slightly disappointed. The item had a different handle from that shown in the picture. And I don't see it being able to lift and move 140 lbs. (as advertised). But it will lift most of what I have in the house, and that's what I need.

I like the book.
Magnificent patterns. Inspiring. Beautiful. With a clear key to all the stitches used. (You can even use the key in other places like for learning/creating learning new stitches.) Clear photographs, and the charted stitch layout is helpful for those who use such things.
