A good buy which has given a 30-year-old washing-machine a new lease of life
I suspect this is not a 'genuine' Miele spare part. Nevertheless it is reasonably well-made, is marked as EN/EC certified, fits perfectly in place of the original and so far has performed faultlessly. As such it was really excellent value for money. With care, the metal mounting bracket can be pushed off the body of the valve and either reinstalled at a different angle or swapped for that from the original part. Either approach would have suited the Miele front-load washing-machine I was repairing (a W733, i.e. not one of the 900 Series listed), but I chose to re-use the original bracket. The difference in bracket arrangements between the original (at left) and the replacement as supplied is shown in the attached photo.
