Machinery's Handbook by Erik Oberg PLUS Machinery's Handbook Guide -24th edition

    A wealth of information
This book is amazing. It has such a wealth of mechanical and material information in it. As a shop reference I think it is invaluable. Only negatives is that the paper is thin and the printing is small, but if it were not there would be a while lot more than 2500 pages and it would be gigantic.

    Fun Game
This is a fun racing game. The actual racing part of the game is not as realistic as GTR or DIRT, but it adds a whole story line and virtual world that makes it more of an adventure typ game than GTR or DIRT. For streight racing DIRT is still my favorite. I do not like the online game play of GTR or DIRT though. In GTR you have to wait forever for the race to start, and the tracks are so long you rarely see other cars (you might as well race alone). You never see the other cars in DIRT only a marker showing your place relative to the other cars (again not so fun). I boutght NFS Most Wanted to play online. I have only played the game once online and got my butt handed to me so I decided I should beat the game first for practice, then I will try the online portion again. So I do not have an opinion of the online play yet. I will say that the adventure portion of the game is not as fun as Grand Theft Auto since you never leave the car, but the driving portion of the game is much better than driving in Grand Theft Auto. Also the interface for NFS Most Wanted kind of sucks because I can not use my driving wheel to navigate all the menus without using the mouse. This makes me have to get out of the driving seat and go over to my computer to use the mouse (yuck!). Luckily I don't have to do this very often or I would have rated the game lower. Still it is a very fun game and I highly recommend it.
