The right decal
This is the correct decal medium. It is thin and therefore takes few coats to make it have no edge shown in the clear. I sprayed 3 coats from a stew-mac rattle can, wet sanded, then 3 more and there were no edge lines! Thinner decals mean more expertise to apply, that's fine by me. The font looked great, the gold metallic great as well. Will be buying more for future projects.

Great resonator for the price and beyone
My 1st observation is the aesthetics of this beautiful instrument. Laminate flame albeit but very attractive nonetheless at this price point. The Lace pickup does a beautiful job of transmitting the resonator sound and does it with a strong level and not so brash, plus the pickup is quiet.
This is a roundneck with a cutaway so it lends itself as a great crossover from those making their 1st foray into resonation.
My next observation is how the other buffoon of a reviewer decides to give this a 2 star just because it doesn't have a case and it supposedly weighs as much as a Les Paul. 1st off, it's a resonator - they're heavier but at exactly 7 pounds this is far less than any Les I've played.
It doesn't come with a case - certainly the buyer knows that when making a purchase, so to the other reviewer; Purchase the case dillweed and next time you feel the urge to try and write a clever review - don't.

Your Van Halen variac
This was made in the 70s and still works fantastic. What does that tell you about the build quality? They do not make them like this anymore. This is your gateway to messing with amp voltages like Eddie Van Halen did. Turn it down, turn it up, it does work. It does change the sound of your amp. Be careful, use at your own risk.
