Has built in leak detection
When I first fired my grill up after installing this, the burners would only produce a small flame, barely enough to get up to 350 degrees with the lid closed. I thought the regulator didn't have enough "flow" to use on a 4 burner grill. a quick search off the internet provided the answer though. Be sure all your burners are turned off before opening the propane tank or else you'll get a very low flow of propane through this regulator. It has some sort of safety feature that limits the flow of fuel if it thinks you have a leak. Works great when used correctly!
