Great game for kids, but expensive with add-ons.
3 of 3 found this helpful Bought this for my 8 yr old son. He loves the game and it is very cool that you can change characters just by adding & removing them from the portal. He completed the game quickly, but there is a good amount of replay with different characters and achievements.
We had a problem with the wireless receiver on our first unit which makes the game unplayable (seems to not be uncommon), and Activision will not honor warranty unless you have a receipt, so keep that in mind when deciding where to buy this.
Also keep in mind that the game comes with 3 characters, but that there are about 30 more that your kids will "NEED" at about $9 each.
Still its a novel idea and I hope there are future expansions to make the investment more cost effective.

Great for the price
For the price it is great. More expensive ones will have cleaner welds and smoother edges.

Fits sunroof cars too
All the parts places say the gray version is for sunroof cars and the beige version is for non-sunroof cars but there is no difference.
