Apple made sure they don't work
0 of 1 found this helpful Apparently the last Apple software update is better at detecting non genuine parts, these adapters work for about 15 seconds then you get an error message saying it's not supported.

Finally found a decent in car Bluetooth phone device
I have tried several hands free Bluetooth devices that go through your FM radio and generally the phone part works ok but the music is always below standard. This device uses your auxiliary line in plug to feed the stereo and the difference is remarkable, I get the same quality as the factory fitted system in my other car. Very simple to use and I have it situated next to the auto shift which is slightly above waist height and have no issues with people hearing me talk on the phone.
As per other Anker products I own the quality is excellent so it is well worth an extra $10 from most of the FM connection products.
The only small inconvenience is that it doesn't turn on when you start the car, so you have to push the button, but it connects to my phone straight away.
