Great book with affirmations, explanations and validations that really work to overcome without relying on repetitive mantras.

Great book for anyone, not just children of alcoholics. Good material that goes well beyond simple affirmations with scenarios, valid feelings, alternate thinking patterns and how to think about changing your thoughts on each topic. This book really helps you deal with the how and why in a concise way that doesn't rely solely on repeating mantras or saying things you have a hard time believing, highly recommended to anyone that could use a major improvement in their thought life.
