Similar but not Identical to G&S Warm Oak Body Wash
I really like the entire G&S Warm Oak collection, and have used it for years. Then tragedy struck...G&S Body Wash and Conditioner were out of stock. Months later, still out of stock, I investigated online and found that G&S had apparantly run afoul of some regulating authorities which led to the curtailment of some production. I settled in for a long term wait for the Warm Oak line to start up again. Then I discovered Guild & Pepper warm oak, owned by G&S.
I ordered some G&P Shower Gel and Conditioner and have tried (so far) just the Shower Gel. I was expecting it to be more or less the same as G&S Body Wash, but in different packaging (and from different factories, China vs US) I think it is very good and close to the G&S line, but not identical. The G&P warm oak is stronger in scent and more lasting, but not unappealing. It is recognizeably similar to the G&S brand, just stronger in scent.
It worked as expected. It cleaned well and was easy to use. It is a bit pricey, but then everything from a quality brand will naturally be a bit pricey. I rated it as pretty good. Whenever G&S Warm Oak Body Wash becomes available again, I'll probably go back to it, but in the meantime, this is a reasonable substitute, in my opinion.
