Despite low cost, PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS!
3 of 3 found this helpful Despite CCA cables low cost, they are not efficient for data transmission due to high impedance acreation per unit length, this causes data packets to get lost in transmission. The computer is spending excess time using the error correction bandwidth therefore reducing the overall speed. The cables are not (Underwriters Laboratory) UL approved because the high impedance also causes excess heat buildup when installed as a power over ethernet (POE) application. This excess heat has lead to countless fires in residential and commercial buildings in past cases simply for avoiding $0.xx per ft. of cable. Ask yourself is this really worth it.
