lasted maybe 60 seconds before catching on fire
with the instructions in one hand I turned the unit on and then pressed the oscillation button. As I adjusted the thermostat downwards the inside lit up and flames all across the bottom appeared. I turned it off and immediately unplugged it. All of this in less than 60 seconds. Am unsure whether this was a refurbished unit or not. I really liked the design and the features. Just caught fire. Bought a second one later that was BRAND NEW for sure and it is great. worked very well in keeping my little 6x6x5 greenhouse at at least 55 degrees all winter. I really like this little heater. Think first one was just a defective refurbished unit not put back together correctly and the heating element wires caught the plastic housing on fire.
