He's a Grate Bear
TL|DR: Well-made small stuffed bear with original tags, perfect as gift for newborn.
So, the story is that a girl I love like a daughter is pregnant with a little girl - due this September - and there are things that just, well, they just make you cry tears of joy. How does one encapsulate that, make it a real, long-term statement?
Teddy Bears. Of course.
In this case, me being me, I went for what a lot of folks call the Dancing Bears, or the Jerr Bears, after Garcia. But, if you have read anything about Owlsley, you know that these are the Marching Bears of Grateful Dead fame. And there are a LOT of these, named after different songs.
I looked for this Franklin, because, as we sing:
In another time's forgotten space
Your eyes looked from your mother's face
Wildflower seed on the sand and stone
May the four winds blow you safely home
You can see from the pic, it is a small - that's a regular Cube to him. Franklin is a Green Bear wearing a jester's piebald outfit in blue and purple. His collar is bright red.
He's a cute little Bear.
