the Peanut Farmer has come a long way
You get the sense from this movie that Jimmy Carter is true blue, He is religious, and thinks with a firm handle on issues. It does go through some of the controversy surrounding his book. People seem to focus on the title and not the content. But in all it is about his efforts to help his fellow Americans see a different perspective and to bring topics back to life. He reminds us we should be working on issues. Just moving on will not solve the problems we have. It may at times seem a bit long, but it gives you a good sense of the Man. Jimmy Carter is more than a peanut farmer.
