Ideal For Youngster or Adult New to History

The topics covered are wide-ranging & not the obvious ones like The Blitz and Henry VIII.

Last Pre-Raphaelite in Detail
This book about Burne-Jones was published in the 1970s so most of the illustrations are b&w and the colour ones are not that well reproduced, but it is still a definitive account of this great Victorian artist, the Last Pre-Raphaelite.
The text is superb.
It deals with his stained glass, tapestries etc, not just his paintings.
It also analyses his style & technique.
I recommend this without hesitation, also Christopher Wood's quite large book with excellent colour plates.
