"Shuck and jive" on steroids. Multiple messages from seller after I won the auction saying he made a mistake and shipping, instead of $17.10 would be $46.90; supposedly because the size of the laptop was too big for a medium size Priority box (which it isn't). A series of disingenuous apologies followed. I decided to cut this deal loose and asked for a refund rather than deal with this guy. Next day I bought the same model laptop from another seller WHO SHIPPED IT IN A MEDIUM RATE BOX.

Easy to set up, works great, saves me money
I decided to buy this after seeing my cable bill. I have been paying $7 a month for 10 years? That's over $800! I got this for a great deal of $25, but this would be worth it at pretty much any cost. I ran my speed test after hooking it up and saw no noticeable difference in speed from the one the cable company had provided. This is apparently an "Older Model" but I don't know what else I could want besides speed. I didn't install anything from the disc, I just hooked it up and called the cable company, and everything works great. My only regret is that I didn't buy my own modem sooner!
