Bose QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Headphones - QC35 II Black + Extended Warranty

Excellent choice for upgrade from QC 2

I tried another vendor's noise cancelling headphones but they were not a comfortable and didn't fold as flat as the older Bose unit (which makes both new and older Bose better for traveling). This pair of QC 35 II adds the benefit of wireless operation and built-in mic for use with a cellphone and they are very light weight. The ear pads are extra soft that allows for wearing glasses with them with out being uncomfortable. I'm not a audio guru so I can't comment on purity of sound or other aspects but to me these sound great and significantly cancel background noise.
