Good unit, use a proper tamp and unpressurised basket and you will be happy
After reading some pretty lukewarm reviews of this unit, I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and performance.
I do have a Krups single wall basket and a pro Tamp but the quality of espresso is excellent.The grind and tamp pressure that I used with the 800 es would have "choked " my Breville Ikon, totally.
Steam took a little while to get used to but that is also pretty good.
Overall, dont hesitate to grab one of these if you are willing to get a decent unpressurised basket and a good Tamp.

Nice strings
1 of 1 found this helpful I am very happy to be using La Bella again after quite a while using other brands, they are actually better than when I used them last, and they were great then, easy to tune, hold the note well and lovely to play, highly recommended.

Another winner from Xiaomi
I own a few Xiaomi products and every one of them is absolutely top flight. This is no exception, not instructions really but none needed, plug it and and charge it, Plug stuff in to it to use that charge, Press the button on the side to lower the output to 200mA for charging stuff like Bluetooth earpieces and fitbits. A really cool use for it is to use with an Oculus GO headset, (also made by Xiaomi) charge the headset to full then plug in the power bank, Saves the battery in the Oculus. Highly recommended , however do use at least a 2 amp charger or it will take all day to charge it.
