An extreamly over sensative scroll wheel (badly designed) makes this unit un-usable.
1 of 19 found this helpful This item may be good for gaming, but for general use and photo editing etc, it is very poor and difficult to use.
Main issue is the very sensitive scroll wheel in free motion - it seems to have a mind of its own. Some times there is a delay in scrolling. More often it scrolls super fast and then reverse scrolls.Very hard to actually get to screen area you want.
Mouse is stationary so that doesn't appear to be the issue.
Put the old MS mouse back and it is perfect.
Logitech have half acknowledged there is an issue and set out some un-install and re-install procedures. Done all that and the problem persists.
Quite frankly, if the mouse cannot operate as a normal mouse, its game over.

Poorly designed product that does not live up to expectations

Mouse is laggy, especially when you move it from a rest.
NO light indicators on keyboard, so have no idea re Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, Inser/Ovr, and Num Lock status. Tried Microsoft support and knowledge base, - just a field of fox-holes and get nowhere - even some of their referenced URL's give 404 errors. Min effort, Zero care factor for their customers
Function keys are symbol driven as hotkeys - great...but, the F1, F2 etc lettering are light grey and in very small print, so hard to see what key is what. To make it worse, There is no grouping of F-key is sets of 4, so a big zero here!
Finally and totally over this brand.
