Mommie Dearest Diary : Carol Ann Tells All, Paperback by Alda, Rutanya
    17 October 2018
Insight into a camp spectacle, one of the great bad movies of all time!
Rutanya Alda gives us a glimpse into her daily life as an actress making a movie that--unbeknownst to her or anyone else--was destined to become a classic flop, one of the great camp films of all time. And her insights into the filming give more than a hint as to what made the film what it is today. Selfishness, greed, and shortsightedness on the part of various higher-ups (stars included in this) made the film what it is today. If ever there was an argument against an Ayn Randian outlook, the making of Mommie Dearest is it!
SWEET SUGAR (new Blu-ray/DVD direct from Vinegar Syndrome)
    17 October 2018
    Great movie--sex, excitement, and fun!
This is one of the best of the sexploitation/exploitation films from the early seventies. Vinegar Syndrome has preserved this movie, which up til now has been available in only a muddy cropped VHS print, and brought it back to life. Bravo to Joe and the gang at Vinegar Syndrome for helping to keep cinema alive!
