After 2 hours fighting with it, it went into the fireplace.
1 of 1 found this helpful Followed directions carefully, however it would not learn the codes. Rather than to increase my stress level, I found enjoyment watching it burn up in the fire. The reason for buying was to combine the tv/cable remote with the LG soundbar remote. The cable remote will not work the LG soundbar either, so the soundbar may use some odd code or frequency. This item may work for other things but I had no use for it.

Great antenna for rural areas
A bit bigger than I expected, however after easy assembly and mounting on a pole, it picks up very well. I tried an indoor window unit and got only a pbs station. With this one I have 35 channels and I am in a rural area 55 miles south of Pittsburgh. Got tired of the satellite dish company fighting with the local providers and dropping them. Very pleased with this antenna and the picture on the local channels is much better.
