Admirable equity trading techniques in the 1950s

This book, which I haven't yet finished, is a fine portrait of a guy, a professional dancer, trying to trade the equity markets of the 1950s, frequently by cable, while traveling all over the world performing... and paying HUGE commissions to do so. I remember... well, not the 1950s; but trading in the 1980s, and I can commiserate. Nicolas Darvas doesn't have the benefit of charts, or any technical material or even foundation, but he's got grit and discipline and burning desire to win. He comes up with his own systems using only price and volume & shares all his boneheaded moves and frequent reversals of fortune as he makes his way in the world, and by doing so causes us to care about him.

Babbling stream ameliorates harsh reality...

While I don't like the slim cardboard container, as I'm sure it'll get lost among my other CDs, it is very useful to me since I live directly under a HUGE EXHAUST FAN, on the roof- it's right over my head- & this album is helpful as a distraction from that horrendous noise... not 100%, but still good for my ragged nerves. I wish it were longer, but that's not a huge deal.

Half the power of the battery it replaces.

I was looking to replace a Panasonic HHR-P513 cordless phone battery, and found this, which I bought on EBay. When it arrived and I opened it up, I discovered that this battery does match the HHR-P513 as to voltage (2.4V), but the current is only half; so it's only half as powerful. The HHR-P513 is rated at 1500mAh, while this bogus replacement is rated at only 800mHh. It'll probably work, but not as well. As to quality, only time will tell.
