The Weeping Camel
Originally I checked this movie out of the local library. I was somewhat hesitant due to the sub-title nature of the movie. However, after watching the movie, I fell in love with the simple story of people who live in a sense of harmony with nature and animals. I had to own the movie to watch again and again. I have been pressing friends and family alike to watch, not just the story of the camel, but also the sociological story of a people just on the edge of probable extinction due to modern technology. I highly recommend this for family viewing or in the classroom as an educational tool. J.P.

JAG Pilot Movie
I have spent several months watching the JAG series through Netflix (my addiction) but some story lines were not clear, or situations were alluded to that I did not totally understand. Then I found out that there was a made-for-t.v. movie that actually came first and it has helped so much understand why Lt. Rabb did not fly anymore and how some of the others who showed up later in the series were intertwined in his life. Gave background to a pretty interesting series. Very pleased to now have the back story.

The Blackberry Hollow Cuddly toy book
This is a great book with full size patterns of unique animals, such as owls, hedgehogs, squirrels and the more standard mice and rabbits. The animals have cute costumes and clothing, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. There are large color illustrations of completed animals in cute story-like scenes. The book lends itself well to creating animal toys for creative play.
